The Department of Geography provides an integrated study of the Earth’s physical features and human interactions with the environment. The curriculum spans physical geography, human geography, climatology, cartography, and environmental management. Students gain practical skills in map reading, data analysis, and geographic information systems (GIS) to understand spatial patterns and environmental changes. The department emphasizes fieldwork and excursions, allowing students to observe geographical phenomena firsthand. Experienced faculty guide learners in exploring topics such as climate change, urbanization, and resource management. Graduates are equipped with the knowledge needed for careers in urban planning, environmental consultancy, disaster management, surveying, and educational research.
